
Improving time to care
Metro North Health has partnered with Personify Care to connect with patients on Metro North outpatient waiting lists to check if they still need an outpatient appointment. This is part of a strategy to address waiting times across Metro North and improve patient access to care in a timely manner, as well as keep patient information accurate and up to date.
Patients will receive an SMS which will include a link to complete an online form to confirm whether they still need an appointment. Follow up processes are in place for those who do not have access to a mobile phone so no patient is left behind due to age or digital ability.
