Pfizer has advised that supply disruptions for Bicillin L-A prefilled syringe for injection products will now extend until 31 August 2026.
The availability of Bicillin L-A 1.2 million unit has improved, with supplies now available to order through wholesalers. Despite the improvement in supply, further disruptions of Bicillin L-A 1.2 million unit are anticipated to occur towards the end of Q2 2026 and as such, will remain in shortage until 31 August 2026.
Bicillin L-A 600,000 unit prefilled syringe for injection remains unavailable and in shortage until 31 August 2026.
LENTOCILIN S
The section 19A approval for LENTOCILIN S 1200 benzathine benzylpenicillin 1,200,000 IU/4 mL powder and solvent for suspension for injection (Portugal) remains in place until 30 April 2026.
