GP Smart Referrals Notification: Best Practice Updates

What’s happening?

Queensland Health are aware of two Best Practice updates that may impact GP Smart Referrals:

  1. Best Practice update (Spectra) is available for download from Best Practice.  There are known issues with this version where clinical notes or additional patient information may not be saved in Spectra and Spectra SP1 due to a loss of connection between the workstation and the server, and as a result may impact connectivity or data loss within GP Smart Referrals.

  2. When a Best Practice Drug Data Update is performed third-party integrations are impacted, including BPAC Clinical Solutions (GP Smart Referrals), which can affect medication records importing into GP Smart Referrals.

Best Practice is currently working on a fix to resolve these issues. For any questions or concerns, please contact Best Practice Support.

What is the impact?
